The ‘Here to Help’ website http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/here2help
and telephone number 01905 768053 was very quickly set up to provide
a safety net for those who require help or wish to volunteer. It was
initially supported by the Public Health Department and we have now
increased support, with more than 40 library staff having been
redeployed to it. The telephone service is available from 8am to 8pm
every day including weekends and seeks to match requests for help with
volunteers, and where necessary connect people with professional
support e.g. social care services.
We are now exploring how we can realise the full potential of
Here2Help.

During the weekly drop-in sessions they run at Malvern library they'll discuss appropriate roles with any interested potential volunteers. MHV will consider which roles best meet the skills, qualities, experience etc. of the potential volunteer and will promote volunteering organisations accordingly.
