Welcome to Abbots Morton Parish Council

Abbots Morton is one of the oldest villages in Worcestershire steeped in history. It is situated on the eastern boundary of Worcestershire with Warwickshire. The Parish consists of the Village and three hamlets, The Low, Morton Spirt and Gooms Hill. The village itself is mainly in a conservation area which contains several black and white timber framed listed buildings, and a few more recently built houses. St. Peter’s Church dates back to the 13th century and close by is an Ancient Monument, the remains of a moated manor house used by the Abbots of Evesham. The Village Hall was rebuilt in 1998 and is well used by parishioners. There is a very small Village Green and situated on it is a listed red telephone box. Most residents commute to work, there are still several working farms in the Parish.
