This two-part workshop will explain how to get started, key tips and the main sources you will need, including census, civil registration records, parish registers and wills. Part 2 will be a week later on 11 October, allowing you the chance to put what you learn into practice in between. There is opportunity during each session to have a go and get started. Participants should be familiar with using computers.
