Music Together for Dementia

These sessions are aimed at people with dementia and their carers. When someone has dementia, music is one of the most powerful and effective ways to stimulate communication and interaction, to prompt memory and brighten mood.  Music-making and singing together have many positive benefits for everyone and generally help to improve our wellbeing.
The groups will run by a HCPC-registered Music Therapist who is very experienced in dementia care.  Everyone is welcome to come along: no musical skill or experience is necessary to take part and it doesn’t matter if you can’t sing!  Book a ticket for the person with Dementia only - carers go free.
