DescriptionBy Roger Savage clerk, William Brigge of Eastington (Estyngton) gentleman, Roger Frewyn of Forthey, Thomas Lechemer, Richard Frewyn of Severn Stoke, William Frewen of Severn End (Severneyende) and William Wylschyre of Bushley (Byscheley), trustees of Thomas Trygge of Hanley (Hanley Spenser alias Hanley Castell), county Worcester (Wigorn'), son and heir of Richard Trygge recently of Hanley, deceased, and kinsman and heir of John Naunton once of Longdon, deceased, and Joan his wife : whereas Thomas Trygge by a charter dated 8 February 1512 had granted to [the seven trustees] all those lands, tenements, rents, reversion and services, with appurtenances, lying in Hanley, Longdon and Severn Stoke, recently belonging to the said Richard Trygge and John Naunton which came to him by proper inheritance, to be held for the use and benefit of the said Thomas for the lives of Thomas and his wife and their heirs, and in the absence of heirs remainder to the heirs of Thomas: now [the trustees] at the instance of Thomas have delivered to him and Joan his wife and their heirs all the above property, with remainder to the heirs of Thomas; also grant of power of attorney to Thomas Hylle of Longdon and Thomas Drynkwater of Chaceley (Chatesley) for delivery of seisin.
