DescriptionFollowing arbitration by Robert Burnell, bishop of Bath and Wells between the parties, whereby the earl and countess, by reason of a dyke they had made at the top of the Malvern Hills to the injury of the bishop and monks, grant to the bishop two bucks in the grease season and two does in the close season from their forest and chase of Malvern. The bishop concedes the dyke shall stand and grants to the earl and countess their lands and tenements contiguos to it on the Herfordshire side
