Witnesses: William Hanley, John Bawghe, Roger Frewen of Forthey, Richard Frewen, Walter Baron and many others.
Dated at Hanley.

Seal: red wax (1) device of letter M?; (2) device of shield party per saltire, bird in each part; (3) device of letter M?
(chirograph) was not a chirograph, although it is substantially a copy of the agreement, written in the same hand and bearing the same date; but in Richard Lechmer is joined by his wife, and there is a different group of witnesses.
