DescriptionGiving to Henry Lane and John Yeman the whole of their field called Jamysfele, with a parcel of meadow, lying in the lordship of Hanley, extending in length from the road called Aylers End Street (Ayleworthendstrete) on the south towards Blackmore End Street (Blakmorenstrete) on the north, and in breadth lying between the field called Haywordesfeleand the land of John Wodeman; to be held with all appurtenances to the said Henry [John omitted], his heirs and assigns, of the chief lord of the fee by the services due from the land and lawfully accustomed. Sealing clause.Witnesses: Simon Hanley, John Cavull, Richard Hyckeman, Robert Grove, Henry Huggys, Richard Crompe, Thomas Pen and others.

1. Richard Ederyche was not actually vicar at this point, but his successor Thomas Lyde, who was instituted on 21 October 1434, was quickly followed by Richard Hyde on 15 March 1435 (Reg Sede Vac, 425, 427); at the date of this charter therefore Ederyche may have been informally in charge, awaiting Hyde's arrival.
2. The omission of a warranty clause is unusual
