DescriptionGiving to John Carpynter of the same vill 17 selions in the lordship and lands (territorio) of Hanley, namely three selions of arable land at situated between the land of Richard Bylay on the west and that of John Sampson on the east and [between] the land of the said Richard on the north and that of the said John Sampson on the south; four selions of arable land at the saidsituated between the land of Richard Bylay on the west and that of Henry Hannelay on the east, and abutting on the land of the said Henry on the north and extending to Rycrofshullon the south; four selions of arable land situated at Radelaywith a headland (hadeland) at the east end, between the land of Richard Bylay on the north and that of John Lechmer on the south; three selions of arable land at Ricroftwith a headland (hadelond) at the south end, between the land of John Lechmer on the east and that of John Sampson on the west; two selions with a headland at the south end, situated between the land of John Lechmer on the east and that of Richard Bylay on the west; and one selion of arable land extending as far as Le Owde Bryggand the land of John Lechmer on the south [no other bounds given]; to be held with all appurtenances to the said John, his heirs and assigns, of the chief lord of the fee by the services due from the land and lawfully accustomed, freely [etc] in perpetuity.
