DescriptionGiving to Thomas Lechmere senior of Hanley one acre of arable land lying in Burleyfield in the lordship of Hanley (Hanley Castel), in length between the land recently belonging to John Hancokes commonly called Longe Hadlondes on the east and the king's highway (regiam viam) leading from Hanley to Upton (Upton super Sabrinam) on the west and in breadth between the land of John Lawton senior of Severn End on the north and that of John Bagger on the south; and also four selions lying in the same field, in length between the land of the said John Bagger on the east and the land of the said John Hancokes called Longe Hadlondes on the west and in breadth between the land of John Tele on the north and that of the said John Bagger on the south; to be held to the said Thomas Lechmere, his heirs and assigns, in perpetuity, of the chief lords of the fee by the services due from the land and lawfully accustomed.
