It now appears that a week earlier William Frewen and John Suffeld were made trustees for Richard Lechmere, who was now officially receiving his inheritance, on his marriage to Margaret Rocke (of Ripple), daughter of Thomas who is a witness above : Toomey, Medieval Woodland Manor, 196. The other part of the chirograph has not been found, but this will be Richard Lechmere's part, since William Frewen has signed it and appended his own seal.
