A workshop for those beginning to read Latin documents for their research. It’s led by one of our archivists using the more common manorial court records. As well as looking at some of the background to the records and the use of Latin, the workshop will also give participants the chance to have a go at translating some typical manorial court records.

The session will focus on reading the documents rather than teaching Latin, so participants should already have some basic Latin knowledge.
