Defying Vichy is about the evolution and impact of the French Resistance in Vichy France, and the British-trained operatives sent to help organise these networks. It is the culmination of several years of intensive research and interviewing.

The talk will also include historical audio excerpts, documents and images. Robert is a graduate in History and French from the University of Exeter and has taught French for a decade in Worcestershire High Schools and taught at the University of Worcester.
