About Mr Maurice Wedd
I am a retired engineer after careers in the Radar and Scientific instruments businesses. Both of these tasks involved working with and managing teams of engineers to create equipment and systems. They also involved extensive overseas travel.
My main interest on the Parish Council leans towards planning matters and as such I have followed closely the Governments demand that large numbers of houses, regardless of local need, be built. We have constantly strived to minimise the impact of the expansion of Worcester upon Lower Broadheath with numerous reports, letters and meetings.
The Vicarage green play equipment, well utilised by local children, is another of my watching briefs, as is the liaison with the Village Hall Committee.
