Welcome to Stock and Bradley Parish Council

The Parish of Stock and Bradley is comprised of the majority of the properties in the villages of Stock Green and Bradley Green. It is a small rural settlement spreading out along the roads serving the two villages, covering an area of approximately 1140 acres.
In the 1861 census the population numbered 310 and were largely employed in agriculture and glove making. By the 1950’s the population had declined to 200 but has been rising slowly to today’s figure of approximately 300

THE PARISH COUNCIL OF STOCK and BRADLEY IN THE WARD OF INKBERROW 

ANNOUNCE A VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR

TO BE FILLED BY CO-OPTION

The above Parish Council will consider filling by co-option a casual vacancy for a Councillor at its Ordinary Parish Council meeting to be held.

 on                            Wednesday 25th September 2025

 at                             7.30 pm

 Those who are interested in serving the community in this way and wish to become a candidate for co-option should obtain an application form for candidacy from the Clerk. Completed application forms should be returned to the Clerk by  Wednesday 11th September 2024 

Information on eligibility, the role of the Parish Council and its schedule of meetings may be obtained from the Clerk and/or the Chairman.
