VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR 

TO BE FILLED BY CO-OPTION

 

Stoulton Parish Council will consider filling by co-option a casual vacancy for a Councillor at its meeting to be held

 

on                   THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER

 

Those who are interested in serving the community in this way and want to become a candidate for co-option should obtain an application form for candidacy from the Clerk.  Completed application forms should be returned to the Clerk by

 

  WEDNESDAY 9th SEPTEMBER

 

Information on eligibility, the role of the Parish Council and its schedule of meetings may be obtained from the Clerk and/or the Chairman.

CANCELLATION OF PUBLIC MEETINGS - COVID

Until further notice the Parish Council will not be holding any public meetings, this in due to the Corona Virus and is in line with guidance from Government and the National Association of Local Councils. The Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Meeting the Parish Council which is usually held in May each year, will therefore be delayed until further notice.

Further information will be posted to the noticeboards in due course.

PUBLIC MEETING - PARKWAY DEVELOPMENT

 
 
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
 
The Parish Council would like to invite all residents to attend a public meeting on December 4th 2019, at 7:30pm at Stoulton Village Hall.
 
Come along to an open meeting about the
PARKWAY DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR A NEW TOWN
OF UP TO 10,000+ HOMES
 
At the meeting we will share the information available and want to hear your opinions, comments, and concerns.
 
The Consultation Process closes on December 16th at 5pm –
 
The Parish Council is working with neighbouring Parish Councils to formulate a response and urge all residents to also submit responses independently.
