Annual Parish Council Meeting moves to May 4th
Due to current legislation the Annual Meeting of BATPC has been moved to Tuesday 4th May 2021 to facilitate the meeting taking place via Zoom.

Covid 19 and Parish Meetings
Due to recent advice the Parish Meeting for Bishampton on April 21st and the Throckmorton Parish Meeting on 18th May have been cancelled.
The parish council are planning to hold the next parish council meeting on April 6th online.
Further details of how the public can access this meeting to be published with the agenda.
The aim is to use the teleconferencing app. Zoom to hold meetings in future.

SWDP Review Public Consultation Staffed Exhibition in Throckmorton 26th November 2-8pm
South Worcestershire Development Plan Review – Preferred Options Paper public consultation from Monday 4th November to Monday 16th December 2019 and a revised version of the Local Development Framework
The South Worcestershire Councils (SWCs) (Malvern Hills District, Worcester City and Wychavon District) have commenced a review of the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP). The SWDP was adopted in February 2016 and the SWCs are required, by the 2017 Regulations to complete a review every five years. The SWDP Review will cover the period to 2041.
The SWDP Review will allocate further land for houses, jobs and retail. It will also set out planning policies for making decisions on new development proposals up to the year 2041.
This 'Preferred Options' consultation follows last year's Issues and Options consultation document and it sets out the Councils' draft policies and identifies the sites which the three Councils think should be developed for housing, employment and mixed uses. We want your views on the preferred options.
The consultation runs from 9am on 4th November 2019 to 5pm on Monday 16th December 2019, and you can get involved in the following ways:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
If by 26 September, 2019 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If an election is called, it will take place not later than 28 November, 2019.
