Through this service the Police would alert you about incidents in the area and send out seasonal messages throughout the year on crime prevention as well. E.g safety message for trick-or-treating, for bonfire night, for starting your car on a frosty morning.

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2005 High St from its junction with U46029 Back Ln to its junction with C2224 Kinsham Ln.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2005 Kemerton Rd, B4079 Cheltenham Rd into Gloucestershire, A46 Cheltenham Rd, C2269 Crashmore Ln, C2005 Overbury and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 14 days Commencing: 5 August 2025

Order made: to close that part of U46029 Back Ln from its junction with C2005 High St for a distance of 55 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2005 High St, U46028 Jobs Ln, U46029 Back Ln (part) and vice versa

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 14 July 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of U46028 Jobs Ln from its junction with C2005 High St for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Safe working for engineers to carry out utility works by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2005 High St, U46029 Back Ln, U46028 Jobs Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 18 June 2025
