Lower Broadheath Parish Council Meetings

Due to the exceptional health situation all parish council meetings are postponed for the time being.
The first cancelled meetings (Monthly Parish Council Meeting & The Annual Parish Meeting) were due to be on 6th April

South Worcestershire Development Plan Consultation
You are invited to attend an exhibition about major development proposals which affect Lower Broadheath Parish, on Monday 3rd October, 2011 in Lower Broadheath Village Hall from 2.00pm to 8.00pm
The Sunshine Club meets each month generally in the village hall for a variety of interesting talks and activities. If you'd like to come along you'll find a copy of the programme under "consultation papers"
Transportation Strategy Consultation
Worcestershire County Council will hold a consultation excercise in Lower Broadheath village hall on transportation proposals on Thursday 11th March,3.00pm to 7.00pm.
Major Development in the Parish
A consultation concerning development proposals will be carried out by Malvern Hills District Council at Lower Broadheath Village Hall on Thursday 11th March (3.30pm to 7.00pm) and Saturday 13th March (10.30am to 1.30pm) Info: www.SWJCS.org

Please can you return your "Parish Plan Update" questionaire if you have not already done so. Your responses will help us in our discussions with both Worcestershire County Council and Malvern Hills District Council regarding development proposals.
CLOSURE of HALLOW LANE
Worcestershire County Council intend to close Hallow Lane for resurfacing from Monday 15th February, 2010 for 5 days. Please take care when using an alternative route.
DEVELOPMENT of 3,500 HOMES, MEETING
A public exhibition is to be held at The Green Centre, Dines Green (4.30pm to 8.30pm) on Friday 22nd January, 2010 and at Lower Broadheath Village Hall (10.00am to 4.00pm) on Saturday 23rd January, 2010. THe Parish Council urges all residents to attend.
A4133 - Public Meeting MEETING CANCELLED
MEETING CANCELLED Worcestershire County Council will close the A4133 between Holt Fleet and Ombersly for 10 weeks during the summer to enable Severn Trent Water to replace a water main. Proposals to extend housing / industry from Dines Green to Hallow and Lower Broadheath
Come and speak to your prospective MPs, Harriett Baldwin (Conservative) and Richard Burt (Liberal Democrat) about the proposed development at a meeting on Monday 20th April at 7.00pm at Lower Broadheath Village Hall
Improve Your Football Skills FREE FUTSAL
All 16 to 18 year olds in the village are invited to FREE FUTSAL sessions at Dysons sports centre from Thursday 9th February 17.00hrs to 18.00hrs for 4 weeks. Just turn up and ask for Pat - FUTSAL is a "Brazilian" style 5 a side game which has developed the world's best players.
Free Football for Boys and Girls
