hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen served with grace and wisdom for longer than any other British Monach and we share the sense of loss and sadness felt by so many throughout the country and accross the globe.

Parish Council meeting 20th September 2022 postponed

Due to the period of official mourning preceeding The Queen's Funeral on Monday 19th September it has been necessary for us to postpone the Parish Council meeting due to be held on Tuesday 20th September. A revised date will be advertised in due course.

An Invitation to a Consultative Meeting with Newland Parish Council regarding Planning Application M/22/00043/OUT Land at Newland Grange, Stocks Lane, Newland.

 

Please join us at 7pm on Wednesday 16th February in the Garden Room Conservatory at The Swan Inn, Newland, to discuss the above proposed development, which proposes a development of 130 dwellings on the site of a traditional meadow, with vehicular access proposed onto Stocks Lane. 

 

The proposals are additional to the development of 800 dwellings scheduled for the village under SWDP56. 

 

Individual responses to the application can of course be submitted to Malvern Hills District Council.

 

Newland Parish Council would like to hear and understand the views of the local community before considering and submitting a response on behalf of the Parish Council, and we look forward to seeing you on 16th February at 7pm at The Swan Inn.
