Parish Publications

Following the passing of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 the Parish Council will now publicise the availability of information about its affairs. The public have a general right of access to many types of recorded information held by public authorities. Any person who makes a request to a public authority for information must be informed whether the public authority holds that information and, subject to exemptions, will be supplied with that information.

Under the Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Annual Governance and Accountability, any person has the right to inspect and make copies of the Annual Governance Return (AGAR), the accounting records for the financial year to which it relates, and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers, receipts and other document relating to those records. These records are available for inspection by any person interested for the year ending 31 March 2024 between Tuesday 3 June and Wednesday 16 July 2025 at a mutually convenient time.
