Parish Publications

Following the passing of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 the Parish Council will now publicise the availability of information about its affairs. The public have a general right of access to many types of recorded information held by public authorities. Any person who makes a request to a public authority for information must be informed whether the public authority holds that information and, subject to exemptions, will be supplied with that information.


Parish Flood Evacuation Plan

Draft v.4.3 for public consultation. January 2023. Objective of the plan is to encourage residents (whether they are residents of the most affected properties or not) to sign up to the EA Flood Warnings Direct and Weather Warnings.

This is the parish council's registration with the UK's independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy.

Vacancy for TWO Parish Councillors

Notice of TWO vacancies for Severn Stoke Ward of Severn Stoke parish council upon resignation of Stephen Watkins and Paul Sturgess. A by-election to fill the vacancies will be held if ten electors for the ward/parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer by 4th July 2022.
