DescriptionGiving to his son John Penne junior of the same vill one acre of his land in Berkeleyein the fee of Hanley, which he once had of the gift of William Eme, lying in breadth between the land of the lady [sc. of the manor] and the land of the same John Penne junior which once belonged to Walter Fynche, and in length extending to the meadow of Robert Calford on one side and the land which once belonged to James le Wodeward on the other; to be held with appurtenances to the said John junior, his heirs and assigns, freely [etc] in perpetuity, rendering annually to the lords of the fees 5d at the four terms, that is 1ð d at St John Baptist, St Michael, St Andrew and St Mary, for all secular services, exactions and demands.
