DescriptionGiving to Walter Bandy of the same vill three selions with one gore of arable land and one piece (peciam ) of meadow in the same vill, in the field called Northfield (Le Northfeld), of which two selions and the gore and the piece of meadow lie in breadth between the land which once belonged to John Hany and the land of John Hentelone and extend in length from the meadow called Uddemede to Le Byrchhongour, and the piece of meadow [also] extends (se habet ) from the aforesaid land to a certain watercourse (cursum aque) called Le Waterwey; and the third selion, called Le Longeside, lies in breadth between the land of John Brycy and the land of Thomas Cade and extends in length from Le Russh'toffes to the pool (stangnum) of William Whitemer; to be held to the said Walter and his heirs or assigns of the chief lord of the fee freely [etc], in perpetuity, by the services due from the land and lawfully accustomed.
