TitleIndenture made between Thomas Lechmere and John Teyle
DescriptionWitnessing that Thomas gives to John Teyle, his heirs and assigns, in perpetuity, five lands and a gore lying in Burleyfield (Burleyfyelde), between the lands of John Lawton the elder on the north and those of Richard Sherle on the south [and between] the Kyngs hyewey on the west and Longhadlond on the east; and also his land in the said field lying between the land recently belonging to Roger Badger on the south and that of John Tele on the north, and abutting on the LongHadlondon the west and the land of John Badger on the east; to be held with all appurtenances to John Tele, his heirs and assigns, in perpetuity, of the chief lords of the fee by the services due thereof and of right accustomed, in exchange for eight butts lying in Longcroft, between the land of the said Thomas Lechmere on the north and south and Severn Meadow (Syverne medowe) on the east, and four ridges and a gore (Lechmerisfyelde), lying between the land of Thomas Lechmere on the north and that of Richard Stokke on the south, and abutting on the land of Thomas Lechmere on the west and a lane called Radyatt Lane on the east; to be held to the said John Tele, his heirs and assigns, in perpetuity, of the chief lords of the fee, by service thereof due and of right accustomed.
