Welcome to Grimley Parish Council

Grimley Parish is situated on the west bank of the River Severn, to the north of Worcester City and sits astride the A443. The Parish is comprised mainly of the rural settlements of Grimley Village, Monkwood Green and Sinton Green. Each settlement retains its own identity and is surrounded by open space.

Situated in Grimley Village is a thriving Primary School, St Bartholomews Church, a pub (Camp Inn - Camp Lane), the old brick pits - a designated SSSI leading down to the River Severn and several farms. The area to the south of the lane has been the subject of past sand & gravel extraction; the resultant re-instated land being put back to private use including grazing, arable and lakes - all in which wildlife thrives. Visitors and bird watchers are reminded to stay on the designated footpaths at all times in this area.

Monkwood Green itself is a registered Common and SSSI, there is one local pub, ‘The Fox Inn’, several farms and Monkwood itself which is managed and maintained by Worcester Wildlife.

Situated in Sinton Green is The Peace Hall, a pub (New Inn), a pond and a large registered Village Green.
