Description	Paper account book, being the accounts of John Taylor [accountant] of the rents and casual profits of the several manors and lordships of the Right Honourable Earl of Coventry. Includes details of rack rents and chief rents due; fines received; heriots received; wood money received; casual receipts; allowances made to tenants (for such things as land tax, repairs carried out, payment of wages, payment of levies and for work carried out on the lands); casual disbursements; payments to charities and arrears in rents. The casual disbursements include what could perhaps be the first mention of Lancelot "Capability" Brown within the Croome accounts; "paid [for] Bill of Disbursements, [for] boarding Mr Brown...".
