He fears 'poor Lord C. pocket is still to be picked, until the family compel the removal of the concern from Quebeck' St. now become more notorious than any other House in London. Encloses the account given him. It is believed this letter may refer to the business of William Kitching, a supposed illegitimate child of the 7th Earl of Coventry, for whom money was paid for his education. Item 705:73 BA14450/289/7 (2) being a reply from Peggy, states that she wishes to have no further involvement in 'the unfortunate business'.
