Item 705:73 BA14450/289/12 (2) sends thanks for assistance with Walter's equipment [items required for his entry into school], will now be able to repay her as trustees now have power under Georgiana's settlement to advance money for the children. Item 705:73 BA14450/289/12 (3) forwards a letter from Sir Robert Farquhar agreeing to give Walter a cadetship next year, if possible in the Cavalry and in Bengal. Item 705:73 BA14450/289/12 (4) states that if he and his family should be moved from Streatham he cannot see how they will afford to live in England.
