DescriptionCorrespondence received from Thomas Henry Coventry, Viscount Deerhurst (1721-44); George William Coventry, later 6th Earl of Coventry (1722-1809); William, 5th Earl of Coventry and A. Wyle. Younge appears to have been a philosopher studying in France, who had become friends with the Coventry family during his studies at Oxford University. The letters talk of their friendship for him and of their hopes to see him again soon. It is unclear as to why Younge's letters have come to be part of the Croome Collection.
