A further rejection of Coventry's application to the next vacant stall for his son the Honourable and Reverend Thomas Coventry is received in 1817. Item 705:73 BA14450/290/15 (6) is a copy of a letter sent to the King by Lord Coventry, talking of Lord Liverpool's actions towards him, with items 705:73 BA14450/290/15 (7-8) being copies of a letter from Coventry to Lord Liverpool, talking of his actions to stand 'successfully an opposing barrier, betwixt his Majesty's most gracious intentions towards me, and the fulfilment of them'.
