Descriptionfrom the Mayor and Corporation of Worcester to Lord Coventry, acknowledging his efforts in preventing a memorial for a grant of the site of the ancient fortifications of the city of Worcester, falsely suggested to belong to the Crown, which would have threatened the property, liberty and privileges of the City. Lord Coventry put a halt to such proceedings in the Treasury and also obtained an order at the last Session to rescind this former order.
