DescriptionBundle of 16 documents, comprising:

1 - Articles to regulate the Trades of Taylors etc, 1634.
2 - Copy of the Ordinances and laws of the Taylors Guild dated 1505. Copy dated 1561. One pendant seal extant.
3 - Original Byelaws for the Taylors Company, 1551
4 - Table belonging to the [Ancient] Company of Taylors Incorporated in and for the City of Worcester whereby it is to be observed that every blank space opposite to every members' names not supplyed with the figures 1.2.3.4. in every year of the said table plainly sets forth that such Member hath been Absent so many Quarter days in the several years underwritten. Table is completed for 1760 to 1762; the remainder of the 12 years are blank.
5 - Copy allowance of bye-laws of the Taylors Company in 1634. Date of copy unknown, probably 19th century.
6 - Messrs Sheriff Cannop, Buck & others to Mr Blue and Oliver, Chamberlains of Worcester, copy Bond of Indemnity to bring Actions in their Names, March 1792
7 =- Copy Bye laws for The government of the Company of Taliors Drapers and Hosiers made 1551 perusant to an Act of Parliament passed in the 19th year of the Reign of King Henry the seventh. Date of copy unknown, probably 19th century.
8 - The Taylors Company of a copy of Sandys Lyttleton Bill regarding a case where a tailor set up without being a guild member.
9 - Copy of a feoffment, May 1760. Date of copy unknown, probably 19th century.
10 - Copy approval of Sir William Jones and Sir Thomas Trevor of the Bye Laws of the Tailors Company dated 1634. Date of copy unknown, probably nineteenth century.
11 - Bill for Thomas Waters dated 1841, apparently for legal services related to the case mentioned in document 8 above.
12 - Bundle of memoranda of admissions into the Taylors Company, 1690s to 1750s. Incomplete run.
13 - Bundle of bills and accounts by the Accountant to the Taylors Company, very incomplete from the 1730s - 1790s.
14 - Intended articles as to the Management well ordering and government of the Taylors Furriers etc, 1734.
15 - Bye Laws for the Government of the Company of Taylors Drapers and Hosiers made 1551. Pursuant to an Act of Parliament passed in the 19th Year of the Reign of King Henry the Seventh.
16 - Articles of agreement of the Taylors Drapers etc Dated Oct the 2nd 1749.
