a leasehold tenement, garden and void ground, formerly 2 tenements and gardens demolished and spoiled in the Civil War, later 5 tenements and garden with cellars, sollars and appurtenances, then 8 tenements, then 6, in Cripplegate adjoining to the corner of the lane to Hardwick Farm on south west, adjacent to Hardwick Leasow or Kitchiner's Close on south, bounded by Cripplegate on north, lane to Hardwick or Bromwich Farm on west; plus parcel of garden ground situated in front of dwelling house of Thomas Giles, bought from Simon English; plus Wooden Farm, Collies Farm and Hammonds House or Haw House and associated land in Wichenford and Cotheridge and copyhold property in Bury End and copyhold messuage known as Salweys in Wichenford.
