Extracts of laws and regulations applicable to the city, including trades (innkeepers, malt making, butchers, bakers, gloversetc), sanitation and waste disposal, lodging for strangers, porters to shut the gates, taking away of gravel, freemen, housing and property, markets, views of Frankpledge, Corporation officers, traffic on the River, weights and measures, lamps, and rates and charges.

Some entries are crossed out and a small minority are in Latin. Entries are undated but appear to go back to at least 1649, possibly as early as 1622, and stop around 1710.
