DescriptionLetters sent largely from Sezincote [Gloucestershire], concerning the accident in which Lord Coventry's son, George William, Viscount Deerhurst (1808-1838), was blinded [whilst hunting at Donnington, Gloucestershire]. Cockerell provides updates to Lord Coventry on his son's stats and details of the medical attention received, including the application of leeches. Although his right eye has been blinded his left eye is unaffected.
