Description	Letters sent to Lord Coventry from his eldest son and heir, Lord Deerhurst, largely concerning his struggle with debts and bankruptcy and seeking financial assistance from his father. Item 705:73 BA14450/294/5 (4) talks of a [marriage] settlement being drawn up between Lord Deerhurst and Virginia [Virginia Lee Bonynge, married 10 March 1894]. Items 705:73 BA14450/294/5 (5-15) talk of the business of the sale of the Tapestry room from Croome Court [Worcestershire] and of the claim that they were an entailed heirloom and therefore should not have been sold. Includes several notes of reply from the 9th Earl of Coventry.
