22 With covering note about the poetry [written by John Hayward, 20th cent]

The note indicates that the manuscript is not in Lord Lyttelton's hand, but is a fair copy of 17 pieces of poetry which were printed in his 'Political works'. It is possible they were written out by a secretary during Lord Lyttelton's lifetime or a member of the family afterwards.
