Description	Petition of the burgesses of the Borough of Bewdley to the Commons of Great Britain assembled concerning the perceived irregularities in electing their MP at the last election. The Honourable Thomas Lyttelton and Sir Edward Winnington were candidiates. A majority of voters voted for Sir Edward Winnington, but because five additional persons were permitted to vote by the Returning Officer, they then tipped the election in favour of Thomas Lyttelton. former ref 4/23/5/12
