DescriptionRecording the proceedings of the 48. Meetings were held irregularly but with increasing frequency over the years. Extra sheets have been inserted with a duplicate announcement whenever a new member is elected, most of the early ones are glued in but the later ones are loose. For the final eight years entries written in the book cease and the slips provide the only record.

Most of the business of the meetings concerned the election of members; inspection of accounts; authorisation of payments made by and to the 48's Treasurer; 'treats' and entertainment arranged for the members; letters of thanks and appreciation to be drawn up.

The front cover and some of the earlier entries have become detached and the volume is presently held together by sticky plastic.
