Matters discussed include changes to poor and city rates as a consequence of changing city parish boundaries; re-valuation of Worcester; names of rate collectors and their parishes; registration of electors; supplemental valuation lists; naming of streets and numbering houses; government contribution to rates; salaries; payment to man who discovered a body in the canal in 1898; audits of accounts; allowances and exemptions; brief summary of the accountants' and auditors' findings and any response the committee made; response to criticism from the Local Government Board to the Overseers about late and incomplete returns for 1900; half-yearly estimates for city and poor rates showing the overseers' expected expenditure and income; railways, telephones and other factors that alter the rate payable; assessments, re-assessments and appeals against them for identified properties and people; relevant legislation e.g. the Education Act 1902 and Finance Act 1910; resignation and appointment of staff; jury lists; houses vacated by soldiers during the war; omission of properties in the rate books.
