DescriptionThe duties of this committee were, as of 1879 'the superintendacne of all property vested in the Corporation; to survey and assess the Fines for the removal of any pact thereof becoming renewable; to let all properties belonging to the Corporation of less value that £20 a year;and to consider all questions regardingh repairs or alterations which may appear necessary in the public or other buildings properly vested in the Corporation; and also all questions relative to nuisances or encroachments that may appear detrimental to such property'.
