There is an alphabetical index in the front of the volume. The volume contains minutes and reports from all officers and committees, permanent and temporary, covering finances, improvements, trade, education, welfare, navigation, public health, laws, utilities, property, services, employment etc. Fore-edges of the pages stamped or annotated by the Town Clerk.

Volume 11 covers 1897-98.
Volume 12 covers 1898 - 99.

Spines missing and covers damaged; would benefit from conservation work.
