Some bequests date back to 1559; they were copied into one volume in the seventeenth century that was added to. With two letters tucked into the front cover, dated 1829 from D Harvey to G Robinson, MP, and 1949 to the Town Clerk from a solicitor re appointment of trustees. Front cover annotated 'A'.
