1 - A Prospectus for 'D W Barker's Patent Brick Works Worcester' established 1869 (pamphlet dated c.1873), slightly torn and pages loose, with a page torn from an unidentified publication that describes various manufacturing industries in Worcester; a booklet 'The Worcester Patent Brick Works' describing the history of the founder and the brickworks, manufacturing process and products made from 1869 to about 1889. With a bundle of notes handwritten by Brotherton concerning brick sizes, bricks usage in Worcester and other information.

2 - Newspaper clippings, letters and handwritten notes concerning Anderson & Virgo Dispensing Chemists and its predecessor chemists run by the Evans brother, all from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

3 - Handwritten research notes about the Hop Market and the House of Industry, with a newspaper clipping reprinting old postcards (pre-World War One), from the 1960s.
