DescriptionAccounts of city expenditure and income. All types of expenses are recorded, from rents, liveries and wages, to tradesmen's bills, assizes and freemen's fines. Some general entries are arranged by date of payment whilst others such as charity, officials, parish and markets accounts are listed separately, and may include transactions several years outside the official date of the volume. Some volumes appear to be working copies that were used to compile the final version.
