Title	Certificate confirming the election of the Honourable John Verney as a Freeman of the City of Worcester
Description	Richly decorated parchment certificate stating John Verney was unanimously elected a freeman, gratis, on 6 January 1733 and confirmed by Samuel Taylor, Mayor, and William Taylor, Town Clerk. With colour Worcester crest and pendant seal with the Corporation's design of the castle tower (slightly chipped). This John Verney is probably the eldest son of Sir Ralph Verney. John predeceased Ralph in 1737.
