DescriptionFour copies of the Freeman's Oath, signed and annotated by the officials who witnessed the swearing. One is from 1774 for a James [Meye?] and has been heavily repaired with sellotape; another for Thomas Corbett dated 1790; a third dated 1825 for Edwin Osbourne that has been repaired by sticking it onto backing card, which is now also torn; and one from 1789 for Samuel Gordon that is in good condition.
