DescriptionWorcester City Council had no provision for the education of special needs pupils, but from the 180s the law required them to receive an education. They were sent to specialist boarding schools outside the county, with the costs shared between the Council and the child's family. The documents mostly concern applications for places at the schools and progress made by the pupils.
