Items of interest include: a letter and newspaper cuttings relating to 9th Earl of Coventry's resignation from the office of Chairman of the Quarter Sessions in 1887 [pages 1-3]; a dance card programme for the Queen's Jubilee reception and ball held at the Guildhall, Worcester on 28th June 1887, with pencil attached [loose, inserted at page 8]; 'Lord Coventry at Home' - a sketch from the series of "Celebrities at Home" being a newspaper cutting dating from September 1887 [page 10-11]; various newspaper cuttings relating to cricket matches, agricultural and farming issues, horse racing and breeding, Lord Coventry's cattle and Lord Coventry's position as Master of the Queen's Buckhounds; a newspaper article on 'Lord Coventry's proposed Jam and Pickle factory' [page 35-36], with a further article [pages 50-51]; various invitations to dinners and events, including those held by the Royal family; newspaper articles on the Silver wedding anniversary of the 9th Earl and Lady Blanche [pages 55-56]; a letter of condolence sent from the Corporation of the City of Worcester to the Earl and Countess of Coventry on the death of Major the Honourable Charles Coventry, 7th January 1896 [loose, inserted at page 82]; an article on foot-and-mouth disease treatment [page 92]; articles on the wedding of George William, Viscount Deerhurst to Miss Virginia Bonynge [page 117-118]; newspaper article on the marriage of Lady Barbara Coventry to Gerald Dudley Smith [page 129-133]; extract from the 'Lady's Pictorial' regarding Captain the Hon. C[harles] J. Coventry, with two portraits [pages 151-152]; various articles concerning the reported death of the Honourable Charles Coventry [whilst fighting in the Transvaal, South Africa] and the later discovery that he was still alive; an article and sketch of Lady Blanche, Countess of Coventry [8th August 1896] [page 173-174]; feathers from a partridge 'shot by Tom Coventry (age 11) with the gun given him by W. Broadwood, 1st September 1896' [page 179]; article on the wedding of Lady Anne Coventry to Prince Victor Dhuleep Singh taken from the Worcester Herald, 4th January 1898 [page 199-204]; a page containing the signatures of all of the immediate members of the Coventry family, dated 28th December 1900 [page 234] and a map of the world extracted from a newspaper, entitled "One Queen we greet; one flag one fleet": Map of the World showing the British Empire in 1896'.
